Can you help?

The Neighbourhood Plan is being prepared by a small group of unpaid volunteers. Not surprisingly, there will be costs incurred as we progress along the path to completion, hopefully by the spring of next year.

These costs will include, for example, utilising professional support to undertake and evaluate community surveys, plus support to finalise the draft Plan for inspection prior to referendum. We also may have to pay for environmental studies and possible site surveys if and when recommendations are put forward for new housing developments.

At this time we have been offered a substantial sum from the Tilehurst Parish Council itself but will need more than double this amount if we are to present a credible and viable Neighbourhood Plan. At the same time, the Greenham Common Trust, through its funding arm known as ‘The Good Exchange’ has also offered to match any additional donations, £ for £, as long as any such donations are from individuals or commercial businesses.
