The NeighbOURhood plan is your chance to influence development in Tilehurst. We are holding two drop-in days to give everyone the chance to participate in the Neighbourhood Plan from the outset. Please come and view our exhibition, have a cup of tea, and let us know what is important to you about Tilehurst.

A NeighbOURhood Plan is a vision for the future, owned and created by the community. It gives legal rights to the community to
– influence local planning decisions
– help secure money for local projects
– propose where new houses, shops and offices should be built
– help preserve green spaces and heritage
– have a say on the look of new buildings
– promote sustainable development
